10.11.2010: Town Car replacement is firm
The last orders for the 2011 Town Car will be taken until january. The Produktion of the Lincoln Town Car, Mercury Grand Marquis and Ford Crown Victoria will end mid of 2011. The order bank for the next generation livery/taxi/police vehicle will begin at the same time. It will be the 2013 Lincoln MKT.
Der 2013 Lincoln MKT is based on the 2011/2012 MKT Model, with a small rear and back facelift. Produktion will start january 2012.
The reinforced QVM chassis for the Limousine production up to 120" is equiped with 4WD, backupcamera, parkingsensors, cross traffic allert, WiFi, 12/110 Volt outlets, remote start, 18" wheels with larger tires, unique headlamps and much more. Die 3rd seating row is deleted for more luggage carrying capacity than the Town Car. Engine sizes are not confirmed yet. There will be no diesel.

04.03.2009: TOWN CAR EXTENSION THROUGH 2011
Ford is pleased to announce its commitment to the limousine/livery industry by extending Town Car production through the 2011 model year. This means that the industry icon will be produced at least through the 2011 model year including 2009, 2010 and 2011 model years.

European marketplaces are still flooded with limousines in salvage condition.
Pictures look allways good. Despaired customers with 10.000 EU cash in pocked are traveling arround and see nothing but crap. Please believe that you do NOT get a usable limousine for this low budget. PLEASE collect all important informations before you travel. See example pictures here

The UK wants to get rid of old limousines.
Many go to Holland as bulk lots. Beware of heavy rust and poor maintenance. European buyers have no advantages with the UK registration papers. They are as useless as American registration (title) for the European registration. No technical datas or emission confirmations.
Also UK LPG systems are not licensable in other EU countrys.
02.06.2007: Traveling to Berlin for nothing.....
A cardealer from Berlin offers since 2006 several Limousines in online marketplaces. In fact he has 3 to 4 very bad Limousines beside countless regular cars on an open lot. Long journeys to Berlin are for nothing. Lawsuits to get travel-costs back are running. Ask him about his stocklist in advance, so you have a chance to win lawsuits.
23.9.2006: Town Car will continue !!
Ford Motor Company announced plans to continue production of the Lincoln Town Car. After assembly ends at Ford's Wixom (Mich.) Assembly Plant in 2007, Ford intends to move the Lincoln Town Car production to Ford's St. Thomas (Ontario, CA) Assembly Plant.
